Our practice is led by Ramesh, who has been in the business of building brands across India and South East Asia for over 25 years. In this time, he has held leadership positions with some of the biggest names in the industry including Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, M&C Saatchi and TNS, where he has steered global, regional and country-specific strategies for blue-chip brands across diverse categories.
Forever a hungry and curious student of behavioural economics, he brings a nuanced understanding of people and cultures across Asia, having learnt to recognise the similarities and respect the differences. He reminds himself everyday that marketing & advertising are essentially intrusions into people’s lives and hence should be nothing short of remarkable to earn their attention and engagement. He firmly believes in the power of creativity to influence behaviour and solve business problems.
Ramesh relishes learning from the best in the business, and being on the jury of multiple effectiveness awards since 2015 is one way he stays current with work that moves people and drives business growth.
His other passion is to teach and mentor people, something he has consistently done throughout his career, both within organisations he has been part of as well as in a range of academic institutions that have invited him to do so.
